Properly dispose of oil-soaked rags with this OSHA-compliant Oily Waste Can and protect your facility from fires that can start due to spontaneous combustion, sparks, or careless use of smoking material. A specially designed foot-operated lid opens no more than 60 degrees and stays closed when not in use, isolating contents from fire sources and limiting oxygen so spontaneous combustion risk is virtually eliminated. Round construction and elevated base encourage circulation of air around can to disperse heat and reduce moisture buildup and rusting. Made from galvanized steel with a tough powder-coat finish to resist chemicals and endure rigorous use. FM tested and approved; UL listed.
